Terms of Use

Throwback Media, LLC publishes every edition of Always In The Club and runs this site. Where you buy one depends on which edition it is.

• The Color Paperback, the B&W Paperback (Premium), the Color Hardcover and the Master Digital Archive are sold by Always In The Club Foundation through its own store. Your order is with the Foundation.
• The eBook + PDF and the B&W Paperback (Standard) are sold on Amazon. Your order is with Amazon, under Amazon’s own terms rather than these.

By using this site or placing an order you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Orders and prices

Prices are in US dollars and do not include tax or shipping, which are added at checkout. We try to keep every price and description accurate. If something is listed at an obviously wrong price or an edition sells out before your order is processed, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We will email you if that happens.

Placing an order is an offer to buy, made to the Foundation. The sale is complete when it accepts the order and charges your card.

Returns and refunds are covered on the Shipping & Returns page. Every edition sold through the Foundation’s store is final sale.

The Master Digital Archive

Buying the Archive from the Foundation gets you a personal, non-transferable license to read it and keep your own copies of the files. It does not transfer ownership of the book, the photographs, or the interviews inside it, which stay with the publisher.

Please do not:

• Upload the files anywhere others can download them, share your download link publicly, or pass copies around.
• Sell, rent, or sublicense the files.
• Strip out the photographs or long passages of text and republish them as your own.

Short quotations with credit are welcome, and so is posting a photo of your own copy. The line we care about is redistribution. This is an independent book and unauthorized copies come straight out of what funds the next one.

What belongs to whom

The text, photographs, design, and video on this site and in the book are owned by Throwback Media, LLC or used with permission from the people who own them. Interviews remain the words of the people who gave them.

Always In The Club is an independent oral history. It is not authorized by, endorsed by, or affiliated with The Walt Disney Company or its subsidiaries. The Mickey Mouse Club and related properties are trademarks of The Walt Disney Company. Views expressed in the book are those of the people who said them.

Photos and memories you send us

If you send us a photo, a memory, or anything else for the book or the Archive, you keep ownership of it. You are giving us permission to publish it in the book, in the Archive, on this site, and in material promoting them, with credit where you have asked for it.

Only send us material that is yours to send. If a photo was taken by someone else, please make sure they are fine with it first. Tell us if you change your mind and we will pull it from anything not already printed.

Using the site

Read it, share links to it, quote it with credit. Do not try to break into it, scrape it wholesale, or use it to send anyone anything they did not ask for.

Links and embedded content

This site links out to other places and loads content supplied by other companies, including the store, the mailing list form, the sneak peek reader, and video. We do not control those services and we are not responsible for them. The Privacy Policy lists which ones they are.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors. We stand behind the books themselves, and the Shipping & Returns page says exactly what we will do if one reaches you damaged or does not reach you at all.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything connected to this site or an order is limited to what you paid for that order. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

Because two organizations are involved, so are two states. An order placed through the store on this site is with Always In The Club Foundation, a Florida organization, and is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, with any dispute belonging in the state or federal courts sitting in Orange County, Florida.

Everything else here, meaning use of this site and the material in the book, is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, with any dispute belonging in the state courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming, or in the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming.

None of this takes away a right you have under the law of the state you live in.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and the version in place when you ordered is the one that governs your order.
